To start off the challenge, we'll look at 3 daily habits that are my non-negotiables and I ensure are top of mind. These will have a huge impact on your health and the choices you make. Hint... one of them is the first meal of the day. 😉 Disclaimer: I’m not perfect and although I strive for this each day, it doesn’t always happen (because I’m a Mum just like you!).
We’ll address the time poor challenge head on. I know at times you feel that you just don’t have time (or the energy) to be doing this healthy thing… so I’ll give you some tips on how to make this more achievable!
On day 3 I'm going to share the secret that I've discovered is one of the most important key elements to having success with creating healthy habits, and it certainly won't be what you think! 😉
I hear a lot of parents say that healthy eating is expensive and yes, sometimes it can be but I try and keep it to a minimum. I’ll share tips on how you can reduce your food costs, while still putting a healthy meal on the table – do you know that one of the Mum’s I've worked with saves $100 a week by following the steps I'll share with you?
On day 5, I’ll share what you need to look for in a snack to make sure it keeps you sustained. Then we'll finish off with tips on what you can do to make these habits stick over a longer period of time, so you start reaping the long-term effects, but so there's still some balance in there, it's about 80/20 right?
After these 5 days, you’re going to feel fantastic, not only because we’ve focussed on you and getting a few small healthy habits kick-started for instant wins, but with the new-found knowledge of what it takes, if you consistently do these over a period of time, you’ll feel more in control, less ups and downs of your moods, have more time and money and feel chuffed you’re making better choices.
By no means in 5 days are you going to change your life, but you’ve got to start, and there’s no better time to start with spring on our doorstep (how exciting is that??), or no better way to start than within a group where we’ll all supporting and encouraging each other.
